What do you guys think? I just can't justify the cost of playing to play, but a lot of people do. Mobin raises some good points but it still comes down to the fact that with school, home work, a job, and a girl friend...there isn't much time to get A LOT of playing in so my money is being wasted.
I just think it's all about how much you're just willing to sacrifice. Quite frankly, if someone is out for a game to be their primary game to play, on top of all the other factors you pointed out, then I think it's all good.
That is a great point. One of my friends said that he justified paying to play by saying to himself that he would be spending that kind of money on new games anyway. If you have that outlook, you are actually saving money. But the fact of the matter is that I get a game, I beat it or get bored with it, and move on.
